What is the boiler fan? The boiler fan, whose technical name is a smoke extractor, is exactly a fan that has the task of pushing the combustion fumes into the chimney so that they can be ejected.

It is composed of a very powerful small fan, which pushes the flue from combustion directly into the chimney.

To work properly, the fan must be connected to the differential pressure switch.

Both are safety devices as they prevent fumes from accumulating and the pressure reaches too high.

For an optimal combustion process in condensation boilers, an essential pre-requirement for low NOx emissions, is to maintain a precise mixing ratio between gas and air.
